the first poster makes a quite coagent point as to the parallels between Big Brother the show and Big Brother the leader of the party in Orwell's 1984. It's a quite interesting to read and does make a lot of sense i think. Ironic that they have turned out to be quite similar.
tempted to buy the DVD of the film of the book aswell
